US Sailing Certification Course
This is our best class and it is our
"Learn to Sail" lesson. Using the US
Sailing system our certified instructors
take students through all the steps of
learning to sail safely and competently.
Each student receives a textbook,
workbook and upon completion of the the
course, their US Sailing Small Boat
Certification. The class is taught using
our Flying Scots. The course is
comprised of four 2.5 hour classes which
can be done over 2-4 days.

Introductory Sailing Class
This is our "Welcome to
Sailing Lesson"!
This
2.5 hour class is designed for the first time sailor
and/or to refresh the old salt in you. This class
covers the same material as the 1st class in our
Certification Course. This class is taught using our
Flying Scots.

Racing 101
Our "Welcome to Racing Class" is an Introduction to
Racing. Racing is a great way to improve your
sailing skills. Sailing experience is a
pre-requisite for this class which involves
classroom time and time on the water typically using
our Hobie Waves. This 2 hour class is also a
requirement to participate in the Duck Yacht Club
racing series.
$105/student ($79 for Duck Yacht Club Members)

Private Lessons
These lessons can be about anything at all (sailing
related). We can work on a specific sailing skill,
teach advanced boat handling, familiarize you with a
new type of boat, help you with your own boat,
introduce the whole family to sailing etc. You can
also challenge the Small Boat Certification Test
using this lesson.
Cost is $135/hour and includes all equipment ]

offered at 10am and 2pm daily (additional classes
can be scheduled based on demand)
June 15 thru August
30 - Classes are offered at 9:30am, 11:30am, 1:30pm,
3:30pm daily (additional classes can be scheduled
based on demand)
