Our location on the Currituck Sound in Duck makes renting
sailboats easy and fun.
We have Steady Breezes, Warm Water, Uncrowded Conditions and
Great Equipment.

Our boats are clean, well maintained and all rentals come
with orientation and PFD's.
Reservations are recommended!
Flying Scots have been a
mainstay in our rental and instructional fleet for 18
years. These 19' Sloop Rigged (Main & Jib) Daysailors
comfortably handle crews of 1-6 adults. We have Spinnakers
available for Experienced Crews ($40/charge). Nor'Banks has
5 Flying Scots and they have all been recently refurbished
with new paint, rigging and sails.
Nor'Banks has a fleet of Brand New Hobie Getaways.
These colorful boats have a boomless main, roller furling
jib, wing seats and a forward trampoline for fun, simple and
fast sailing for crews of 1-4 adults. We have 5 of these fun
catamarans and they are our most popular rental sailboats
We will have 4 Brand New Windrider 17 Trimarans for rent
this season.
Our new White Boats will hold 1-4 people and feature new
rudders, more floor space and are sure to remain one of our
most popular rental boats. Since we are a dealer for
Windrider Trimarans, you can use your rental fees as credit
towards the purchase of your new Windrider!!
New to our rental fleet last year and returning
again this year are the Weta Trimarans.
These fast, fun and easy Trimarans come with main,
jib and a roller furling reacher (for those with
experience using reachers). The Weta will hold 1-3
people and are a absolute blast to sail. You can
also use your rental fees towards a Weta purchase!
Nor'Banks also has purchased brand new Hobie Waves!
These 14 foot Catamarans have a mainsail and are perfect
for 1-2.5 adults. They are simple and fun to sail.
