Nor'Banks Sailing, invites youth ages 8 to 14 to discover the fun of sailing on the waters of the Currituck Sound in Duck, NC. Our location, coupled with our warm shallow waters and steady winds make for an ideal place to learn and enjoy Sailing. Nor'Bank's staff of experienced US SAILING certified instructors create a fun and safe learning environment by combining classroom instruction with games and lots of time on the water. The continued goal of our Sailing Camps is to provide a challenging and fun experience during which students develop sailing skills, learn seamanship and most importantly have Fun!! Level One Sailing Camp

Our signature camp. This camp focuses on introducing kids to sailing. Students will receive their US Sailing Red Book and learn safety and develop basic sailing skills on land and in the water. They will also learn knots, boat rigging, capsize recovery, rules of the road. This class will use our fleet of Taz's.

Level Two Sailing Camp

This camp is for students who are proficient and confident in their sailing skills. This class will hone student's sailing skills and work towards their completion of the US Sailing Red Book while working on sail trim, boat handling and racing rules and techniques.

Camp Information

If your child has not sailed since last summer and/or last year's camp was their first experience sailing, we encourage you to sign up for the Sailing Camp.

Completion of our Sailing Camp (or similar sailing experience) will be a pre-requisite for getting accepted into Level-Two Sailing Camp.

All camps are now full day camps and run from 9am-4pm Monday to Friday. Syllabuses will be posted shortly.

Cost is $325/student (early bird special of $299, if paid in full by March 15th)
