  For our 2019 summer vacation, I planned an adventure week in the Outer Banks for me and my 3 college age sons. Nor'Banks Sailing and Watersports was a big part... read more of our week since we spent time there taking Hobie Cat sailing lessons then sailing on our own, tubing and water skiing, and going on a Wave Runner tour. Needless to say we had a blast! The Nor'Banks team was very friendly, helpful, and professional. When we were forced to cut our sailing outing short because of bad weather, Nor'Banks credited our account and worked with us to reschedule a return visit when the conditions were more favorable. Our sailing instructor expertly taught us the ropes and soon had us heeled over as we raced across the Sound. Captain Ken Miller led us on a high speed, thrilling tour of the northern part of the Sound on Wave Runners. My sides hurt from laughing so hard at my sons holding on to the tube for dear life while Capt Sean McShea towed them behind the boat on our way to the waterskiing area. None of my sons had waterskied before but with Capt McShea's coaching they each got up and had a great time skiing for the first time. As I write this now, several months later, I find myself smiling at the fond memories we made at Nor’Banks, and I’m sure my sons feel the same way about the fun we had together on the Sound. If we ever find ourselves in the Outer Banks again and are itching for some adventure, top on our list will be Nor’Banks Sailing and Watersports.
